Pages for the Web is a small web design company specializing in websites for professional small businesses and non-profit organizations. Our objective with each website design is to project your company's image in a visually pleasing and well-organized style. Visitors to your site will find it easy to navigate and discover your information, products and services. We are located in the Jackson, Mississippi area; however, we work with clients from all over the United States.

Basic Website

Pages for the Web offers a basic website design package with the option of adding extra components.

  • 5 pages
  • logo graphic (provided by client)
  • basic graphic development to support layout and navigation scheme (involves development of color, texture, artwork, menu, and links)
  • copy for five pages (provided by client; edited by Pages for basic search engine optimization)
  • one animated banner (up to six photos) or one gallery (up to 12 photos) (edited and prepared by Pages)
  • site map and/or XML sitemap (depending upon size of site; provided by Pages)
  • basic search engine optimization (content of website optimized for search engines using keywords, page titles/descriptions particular to your industry)--Search engine optimization DOES NOT include search engine marketing for top ratings; this is a specialized field that is labor intensive.
  • search engine submission to Google, Yahoo, and Bing
  • one hour of website updates/changes during first 30 days (except for completely new pages which are billed separately)

We offer anti-virus and anti-spam solutions with every account. We can also provide tracking on each hosted account with results emailed directly to you monthly.


About

Hi! I'm Cathy, a self-taught print and web designer. Over the years, I've designed and produced for family and friends many types of print media — posters, invitations, newsletters, bulletins, business cards, etc. In 2005 after realizing that I had a passion for web design, I bought my first HTML editing software with the hope of one day starting my own company. Around the same time, my employer gave me the opportunity to move into the company's print and web media position. After three years of working with Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, In-Design, and Dreamweaver, along with learning HTML and CSS, I began Pages for the Web.
